And then go somewhere you’ve always wanted (Monkey Bar), with someone whom you adore (Mr. B) and it’s even better than you hoped.

Cool, clubby and old-school New York. But not a drip of attitude or pretension.

Gorgeous cocktails. Friendly bartenders. Corn fritters with thyme honey.

Catching up with a good friend and looking forward to a whole new year…
